| The Young Explorers is proud of its leaders. All leaders are volunteers and must go through an acceptance process required by the Michigan State University Cooperative Extension Service. This process includes submission of an application and references, an interview, and criminal background check. |
| The Young Explorers is always seeking qualified leaders. Parents, grandparents, relatives, or friends with any special talent should consider sharing their gifts with enthusiastic 4-H members. Involvement ranges from two-hour sessions to several sessions to one-day activities. |
