NON-COMPETITIVE YOUTH EXHIBITS
AGES 5 - 8 YEARS OLD


Exhibitors may choose whether or not to they want to enter in the non-competitive division. Youths who exhibit in this division will receive no premiums. Those wanting premiums should register in the regular Fair classes.

Youth between the ages of 6-8 are eligible to exhibit.

All entries must be the work of the individual exhibiting it.

4-H members who have participated in several activities are encouraged to exhibit their favorite projects.

Youth may enter the following number of exhibits: 6 years - 6 exhibits; 7 years - 7 exhibits, 8 years -8 exhibits

Each child will have a short interview with a judge. He/she will be asked simple questions about how the exhibit was made, what he/she enjoyed most, etc.

Exhibits will not receive an A, B, C placing. Instead each child will receive a participant ribbon. Exhibitors will not receive premiums for exhibits entered in this division. Each child will receive a youth surprise bag instead of a premium check.

The exhibit must be displayed in the Youth Building during Fair week. 4-H member exhibits will be displayed in the club booth.

PET SHOW/PARADE

Participation open to youth ages 8 and under.

Any pet may be exhibited (dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, rabbits).

All dogs and cats must be on a leash at all times.

Registration forms must be completed and turned in to the 4-H Office at the Youth Exhibit Building by Wednesday of the Fair.

Participants and pets should check in at the 4-H Office one-half hour before the time set for the show.
