VAN BUREN COUNTY
FASHION REVUE SHOW - 2005

Fashion Revue is a 4-H project that helps youth develop fashion sense through still exhibit projects, buymanship, and modeling. Youth may participate in the annual Fashion Revue show, as well as enter and display still exhibit projects at the Van Buren Youth Fair each July.

Young Explorers Katy Massey, Teresa Smith, and Logan Frazier were named as the other participants placing in the top five modeling participants.

The first Fashion Revue in Van Buren County in over ten years was held in April, 2005 at the Gobles High School. Participants modeled a variety of exhibits, including knitting, sewing, recycling, and buymanship projects.

In addition to presentation of still exhibits and the modeling competition, the show offered a variety of door prizes sponsored by Van Buren County merchants. Entertainment included dancers from the Dance Zone and violin music by Brian Hayward, Young Explorers 4-H Club.


There were over 15 participants who stepped out during the modeling competition. The 2005 theme was Disney and each participant was required to model in Disney attire.
