| On March 25 and 26, 2006, TICA (The International Cat Association) held their annual cat show at the Kalamazoo Radisson. Exotic and natural cats from around the world entered the show ranging from Persians and Ragdolls to Bengals and Savannahs. |
| Young Explorers cat project members attended the TICA show, helping individual judges by stewarding each cat show ring and keeping cages clean. Each member not only was financially reimbursed for their work, they also learned lots of great information about cat breeds and care. |
