PREMIER ANIMAL ATTRACTIONS FIELD TRIP
Thursday, July 22, 2004

Did you know that the bones in a tiger's neck are fused together; otherwise they would purr like a housecat? Did you know that the bacteria in a cat's bite makes it one of the top ten worst animal bites? Did you know that if a lion is castrated, he will lose his entire mane within three weeks and it will not grow back? These and many other things are just some of the fascinating information that the owner of Premier Animal Attractions shared with the Young Explorers 4-H Cat Club at the 2004 Van Buren Youth Fair. During a special session with the owner/handler, cat members learned a variety of special facts and how to care for lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, and other large cats.

MICHIGAN CAT FANCIERS FIELD TRIP
Sunday, November 3 2002

Each year, the Young Explorers Cat group goes to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds to attend the Michigan Cat Fanciers Association Cat Show. The trip is normally the first weekend in November in the afternoon.

STUART LITTLE MOVIE FIELD TRIP

In 1999, the Cat Group took a field trip to see the movie, "Stuart Little". Critics say that the movie "Stuart Little" does for cats what the movie "Babe" did for pigs. There were several cats in this movie and the members enjoyed the outing.
